Kaira Monthly Sponsorships
The PTO is excited to continue to support Pattison's facility dog and help to ensure that this program is a long term success at Pattison! Please consider sponsoring Kaira this year. There are three $50 sponsorships per month and five $100 sponsorship experiences for you to choose from. The description of each sponsorship can be seen by clicking on each experience individually. Wondering WHY Kaira needs financial support?
The district has provided the initial funds to bring Kaira to Pattison as a service dog; she will provide support for both students and staff. Milford owns Kaira. Ms. O'Brien & Mrs. Aielli are Kaira's handlers, but are not her owners. As Kaira continues through the internship, funds will be the handlers financial responsibility for Kaira's ongoing care (vet visits, food, etc.). As Kaira serves our Pattison family and supports our whole community, financial support would be greatly appreciated; stay tuned for information on how to sponsor Kaira. If Ms. O'Brien & Mrs. Aielli no longer be the handlers of Kaira, Kaira would stay at Pattison but we would need to find new handlers. Once Kaira has retired from service at Pattison (after approximately 8-10 years), she would be up for adoption and would ideally be adopted by her handlers.
